CONCOR philosophy is rooted in the growth and development of its employees through training and development. CONCOR believes that training and employee development not only acts as a way to attract and retain employees but also provides competitive advantage by strengthening the intellectual basis of the company.
The company has a well structured training policy. Training is provided to the employees on a wide range of areas including both internal and external trainings.
Apart from induction training to the new appointees, skill development programmes, refresher programmes, career development programmes and technical in- house training programmes are conducted for the employees. Employees regularly undergo external training on a wide range of self-development and management development areas. For advance skill development and international exposure executives are also nominated for foreign training programmes.
We regularly send our senior management for trainings abroad so as to create value for the organization. The company has been sending officers in middle management levels for foreign trainings so as to give them international exposure and keep them abreast with state of art technology in the logistics sector. A batch of 10 to 12 officers is nominated every year for the various courses being offered by APEC-Antwerp Flanders Port Training Institute, Antwerp Belgium.
CONCOR also has a state of the art training centre at Sector 32, Gurgaon, Haryana. The training centre include two conference halls with a seating capacity of 20 participants each and two common rooms. The conference halls are equipped with training aids like laptops, LCD projector, writing board and other training tools.
