The interface of company with the employee's union viz., CONCOR Employee's Union is driven by formal and informal relationship. Formal relationship is more guided by the statutes wherein settlements are being entered wherever necessary. While in other day-to-day informal interface union representatives are being consulted at various levels which mainly include the line managers in a routine manner.
Harmonious Industrial Relations in CONCOR are instrumental in providing inter-alia excellent logistics services to our customers with no man-days lost on account of industrial disputes. Management is having cordial and harmonious relations with the union and encourages healthy and prosperous trade union activities.
The union is constantly encouraged by the management to undertake welfare activities for CONCOR employees leading to satisfied and productive workforce. Bilateral cooperation is the hallmark of this relationship.
At the apex level, whenever a negotiation committee is constituted, it invariably consists of senior line managers. During the last ten years more than five important settlements have been arrived at and signed with the union, which all have been executed amicably without any kind of dispute.
Industrial peace has lead to reduction in employee attrition rate which at present is 2% approx. and has also contributed significantly in boosting earning per employee which at present is 3.48 Crores approx per employee.
The absenteeism rate in CONCOR is less than 0.2% which is a benchmark especially in public sector.
